A 2 or 3 day tour, adjustable according to the number of kilometers you wish to cover each day. The Meuse, a river, a valley, is also the richness of a nearby but sometimes unknown heritage!

Day 1
Namur (Profondeville) – Dinant region:
Welcome on the day of departure by our care. At the exit of Namur, the relaxing atmosphere of the RAVeL of the Meuse presents itself to you. You pass through the village of Wépion, land of the world famous strawberry. You gradually enter the most beautiful landscape section of the Meuse valley which reveals numerous cliffs and its sumptuous sites such as the famous gardens of Annevoie. You will then leave the Ravel to take a little height to dominate the valley of the Molignée through country lanes. Discover the neighboring villages and not just any villages!
The meanders of the Molignée are home to Sosoye, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia, with its typical limestone houses and listed buildings. Falaën and its listed castle !
You continue your walk to the famous Abbey of Maredsous founded in 1872 and one of the most beautiful in Belgium! Take advantage of your visit to admire the architecture of the monastery and taste the famous cheeses and beers of Maredsous!
After this moment of relaxation, take the road between meadows and streams to discover the “daughter of the Meuse”: Dinant which gets its nickname from its particular situation between cliff and river. The city is literally embedded between the Meuse and the rocks, which gives it all its charm. Don’t miss the opportunity to dive into more than nine centuries of history by visiting the citadel! Proudly overlooking the city of Dinant and the Meuse valley, it was built in 1821! By cable car or on foot for the most courageous, you will reach the top of this fortress, which offers a breathtaking view of the Meuse and one of the most beautiful valleys in Belgium.

Day 2
Dinant region – Namur (Profondeville):
You start your second day on the banks of the Lesse river. You leave the tourist center of Dinant to follow the river from Anseremme to Pont-à-Lesse, admiring the magnificent natural landscapes, dotted with castles and rocks. The nature is luxuriant, the charm of Wallonia operates, the light that passes between the trees is magnificent!
After a difficult climb, you will discover the feudal castle of Vêves: with its magnificent towers and its beautiful woodwork, the Castle of Vêves seems to come straight out of a fairy tale. It is considered one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Belgium, an exceptional heritage of Wallonia.
You will continue to take a little height before plunging towards the village of Celles, nestled in the hills. It is a real jewel of the Condroz of Namur! Do not miss its Romanesque collegiate church, its fountain, its stone houses and its quality restaurants.
After this natural and cultural break, you will continue your journey through the country roads and through the nearby isolated villages. To finish, you will follow the Meuse river to Namur where you will be able to enjoy the charms of Namur in a privatized cruise (optional)
Return to Profondeville (Namur)
